I spent a couple hours back at the ice rink this evening. In this photo one teams goalie warms up for his game (or is this a prayer to the Hockey God?)!
Photo taken with my Canon 40D and Canon 100-400 zoom lens. Post-processing: Photoshop CS3 > High pass sharpening > Merge Layers > Duplicate layers with Hard Light blending mode @ 81% > Merge Layers to New Layer > Lens Blur with Mask to simplify the background.
