#598. Big Shots

My first corporate gig. Taken yesterday. The client wanted a black & white to color rollover of their executive committee members in candid "poses". I used my Alien Bee 1600 with a large soft box overhead slightly left of camera angled down between my subjects and the white table at which they were seated. Text will ultimately overlay the negative space on the left.

#597. Gunfight Brewing

I found this piece of vintage playground equipment in a quaint Rice Village park. It grabbed my attention because it reminded me of playing cowboys and Indians and of having pretend gun fights when I was a kid. Frankly I'm surprised that this piece of equipment has survived in today's environment of ultra political correctness. Anyway, the scene reminded me of older, if not better, days and put a little smile on my face. By the way, I could have easily removed the white plastic bag from the foreground but I decided to leave it as a representation of urban tumbleweeds! :-)

#596. Rockin' Dog

Taken yesterday at a park in Rice Village. Another piece of vintage playground equipment caught my eye at this quaint park in the Rice Village area of Houston but when I saw this little guy I felt he was worthy of a few frames as well.

#595. Kemah Boats #2

Taken at sunset today at Kemah Boardwalk. My ability to occasionally get a shot like this is why I keep going back to the Kemah Boardwalk when I feel like I NEED a killer shot for my blog! :-)

Hope you like it!

#594. Steeple Under Wraps

Taken at lunch today. This church steeple, located near the museum district in Houston, has been under construction (renovation) for some time now. I have always been in awe of the engineering that goes into building the scaffolding required for a big job like this.
