Concan Cypress Trees

Taken two weekends ago in Concan, Texas. The fall colors of the giant Bald Cypress trees lining the Frio River in Concan were at their peak.

Great texture and colors. I like this shot as is but I also think the an abstract square crop of the tree tops would be cool.

I live here and never get sick of looking at them, what a shot.

Thanks Larry and Bradley!

Larry - I agree that an abstract form this might work well. I kind of think I may have played with a square crop but don't remember why I didn't use it.

Bradley - You're lucky to be able to enjoy this sight every day! I have to drive a long way away from Houston to see any appreciable fall colors at all.

Cheers!

We don't see images like these here in Portugal...
It looks like surreal...

I must admit, this one might be a little over the top for me. I do like the fact that you are pushing your photos in different directions. Good job.

Thanks Patrick!

I'll show you the raw image some time. It's amazing how little I had to push this one. If memory serves this was an alomost surreal scene.

Cheers!
