St. Mary's Nerve Center

Taken this past Sunday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas. The scene in the entrance hall of this church caught my eye because of its muted colors and great wall textures. Also this small entrance hall struck me as the social "nerve center" for the church.

Title: "St. Mary's Nerve Center"

Camera / Lens: Canon 5D Mark II / Canon 24-105mm L zoom
Post-processing: Photomatix Pro to conver three tripod mounted long exposures into one HDR (High Dynamic Range) image > Photoshop CS4 > Topaz Adjust plugin

I like the shot, but! I also think some of the individual items in the shot would make good photos on there on. I also wonder whats at the end of the ropes hanging in the photo [never seen em' at a Baptist church!] Makes me wonder what a low perspective shot lookin up would reveal. Lot's of detail here to look at.

Thanks Larry!

I think you are right about there being multiple photos within this one. I should have spent more time in this room but I didn't think to photograph it until we were already on our way out!

Cheers!
