Drop Off
I was going through the archives gathering up some photos to submit to the upcoming TAACL show "Flotsam and Jetsam" when I noticed this photo, one of my favorites, hadn't been posted to the blog before! Time to remedy that situation!

I like the composition on this one, good capture. To me the vignette is a little to heavy and the highlights are a little hot. I think some work on these two things might improve the shot.
As we have discussed, I could not push the shutter on many of these photos after Ike.
Effective photo. It has a very definite message.
Since the sign is one of the main elements of this image, would you produce another feeling if you cropped to more of a vertical picture by moving the left edge toward the sign?? Drop-Off implies up and down.
