I ran into this character at the Texas Renaissance Festival in Magnolia, Texas on Saturday while on a field trip with the Bay Area Photo Club.

Definitely not one of the prettier sights from Saturday, but very memorable. This happens to be an Orc from medieval times. Nice capture. Great job on controlling the light and using it to good effect.

That is absolutely frightening! Are you sure this shot wasn't left over from Halloween? Never heard of an Orc....but he has pretty eyes.

The sharpness of Orc versus the soft bokah of the background make this portrait. I do wish that the left side of the background was the same green that the right side is. I think it would help Orc stand out--as if he needs something to make him stand out.

Real nice job with detail and exposure! "Pretty Eyes" looks like someone I used to work with.
