#633. Baby Blue Balloons

Here's a shot I took this past Sunday for our photo club's monthly assignment. The assignment was "The Color Blue".

Post-processing: Photomatix Pro to create a Psuedo HDR from one raw file > Photoshop CS4 > Topaz Adjust plugin

I love your blue balloon picture, it's great. I can't believe you didn't get a gold. If I had a blue room it would be on my wall.

Great composition, quality of light, and post-processing make this shot of a simple subject an excellent photograph.

You did good! A very simple idea that you made very interesting by incorporating sun stars into the image. Although the image is 99% blue, the different shades of blue really make you study the entire photo.

Barry, when I first open your picture I had to smile. A real cool picture, the two stars add an extra nice touch. I had my entry ready but didn't get home in time. So, from where I sit I give you a Gold! I like it "simple" and "different shades".

Love this shot! I love the overlapping effects of the balloons (reminds me of a vin-diagram). What does it for me though is that effect WITH those two points of shining light on the left--I love that contrast.
