I always take a variety of wide angle and detail shots of the venue setup. These are setup shots from our company's Christmas party last Saturday night. I included these shots with the event photos and also sent them to the gallery manager who had requested copies.

I puzzelled. Your description and the photo of your lighting set-up says that you used one light with umbrella, yet, I see two catch lights in everyone's eyes. Where is the second catch light coming from?
You missed the second part of the sentence Larry. "...and one was chest high camera right".

Doug is correct. I used two stand mounted strobes fired though shoot through umbrellas with pocket wizards for the portraits. This setup shot was to show how the gallery was appointed for the party not how my lights were setup and so just coincidentally included the one light seen in the background. The other light is off camera to the right of the first light.
