This past weekend we visited Beaumont Ranch in Grandview, Texas to attend an event hosted by an old friend of ours. Part of Beaumont Ranch's amenities is a recreated old west town complete with reenactors as shown in today's photo.

Black and White or sepia are always good colors to use with images that are connected with the "old days". I want to be the sheriff. Interesting picture.
Nice shot. Good job on post processing. I would have liked to have seen the the tall dude wearing round glasses from the period. It's a small detail, but the only one I see to connect the shot to more modern times.
Thanks Wayne and Larry!
Larry - I assumed the guy researched and chose period specific eyeware but I see now that they do look pretty modern! If you're into re-enacting I would think you would get your costume 100% correct.
Cheers!

Good capture and good post processing, especially using a high contrast sepia as the final media. For some reason, to my eye, the three people just do not seem to go together. I cannot figure out why I think that, but I do. Anybody else think that?
Thanks Patrick!
Is it their relative heights? Maybe I should have had the lady stand on a stool? Or the tall get down on his knees? :-)
Cheers!
Barry
