Rod and Reel

It has been hard to find time to process photos lately so I'm reverting to the archives today. This is a shot from my trip to Tybee Island in Savannah, Georgia in May 2008. To me it has a relaxing quality which can put one in the appropriate frame of mind for a holiday weekend! :-)

Title: "Rod and Reel"

Shot data: 1/500s f/7.1 at 100.0mm iso125
Camera / Lens: Canon 40D / Canon 100-400mm L zoom

It would have been nice if more of the sign was in the frame. I did not feel the connection between the buildings and fishing in the water or the sign.

Thanks Wayne!

I guess it all connects for me because I saw the "whole" image. That makes it easy to improperly assume everyone will get the connection.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Hey Barry-

This looks familiar to me. Was it from our walk out on the pier or another trip?

Even if it wasn't from our trip that was a lot of fun and I am glad we got to go shoot together!

Hello Brian!

You got it! That was definitely a fun day! It reminds me of the Radiant Vista workshop and the Austin reunion as well; two other fun times!

Isn't it about time for another reunion?!

Cheers!
