More from GBF Event

Here are a couple more shots from the Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) event this weekend. The first shot is of part of the heavy machinery used to build the islands that were to be planted on the day of the event. The second shot is another shot of the grass the islands were planted with.

Two more good shots from the outing. I like how the clouds and highlight in the water seem to radiate out from the work barge.

The grass-pots shot is probably my fav of the two, but I do think I would like to see the pots sitting on something besides the bottom of the photo.

Good job on both.

I like the close-up of the grass in the containers. It really shows what the environment that the volunteers were working in. Good job.

Thanks Larry and Patrick!

Larry - I don't think I have any more of the island below the pots in the raw image. Sounds like a job for photoshop!

Cheers!
