We spent this past weekend in the Canyon Lake area. One of my side trips landed me in Gruene, Texas at sunrise where I took this image of historic Gruene Hall.

The spooky HDR palette turns this into a peculiar feeling Barry. I'm expecting a specter of terror to explode from the door or windows. :-)
I've seen several shots now of this building and have a few of my own. I like this one for the time of day you shot it and the HDR treatment.
I like the moon next to the water tower. It must be the wide angle lens that keeps it from being larger. I know that you checked charts for months to determine the exact date and time the moon would be next to the town’s name. The HDR technique also allowed some of the details of the inside rooms to be seen through the windows. Nice photo. If you ever decide to play with changes, you might see if you like a crop on the right to remove the light and telephone pole. If you have more time, the picture without the wires would be a special shot.
Thanks Ted, Larry and Wayne!
I have some viable options for future versions now thanks to your comments!
Cheers!

Hey Barry-
Trying to get caught up on blogs but man am I behind.
Great image. I seem to agree with everyone else's comments. This looks like a great place to shoot.
You did a nice job of capturing it as well as processing as usual.
Brian
This building yell: photograph me!
I really like the use of night photography and HDR to capture this one. It provides a very different view of the building.
Good job.
Thanks Brian and Patrick!
I'm glad you like it!
Cheers!
Barry
