Galveston Bay Foundation Volunteers

My usually reliable photo hosting site has been down for a few days which has forced me to temporarily change the way I post photos to my blog. I'm having to display a smaller size but you should be able to click on the image to get a larger version.

Here are a couple more shots of some of the volunteers at last Saturday's Galveston Bay Foundation Marsh Mania event at Burnet Bay near Baytown.

Nice job on both. I think the bottom one is my fav because the exposure on it seems exactly right. I also like the texture and color in the sky.

I also like the second image. The sky is wonderful and I like the way the 2 volunteers are interacting, they almost form a circle with their bodies. The horizon though...I think this time I would like it level, but that may cut off too much around the people. Was the tilt deliberate, or the result of trying to keep the camera out of the water?

Thanks Larry and Cindi!

Cindi - A little bit of both. I knew the horizon would most likely not be level since these were a no-look water level shots but I was feeling a bit roguish and felt like breaking some photographic rules! :-)

Cheers!
