Serious Soldier

Another Texican soldier from this past weekends San Jacinto Day Festival. I don't know the historical rankings marked on the uniforms but to me this gentleman carried himself like the general. He struck me as very "real" in the portrayal of his character.

I like this portrait --- the crop, the background, the angle of his head etc. Nothing to distract you from the subject. All the elements look very realistic to me...I wonder if he will trim that beard now....
