Coming Storm

This photo was taken on Ingram Dam in Ingram, Texas this past weekend. I took this shot intending to push it toward surrealism. With the cloud cover we had that day I didn't have to push it too hard! :-)

Title: "Coming Storm"

Once again having a super model with you saved you--just kidding. I like the way you presented the storm as part of an environmental portrait. Good positioning of Emma. Having her dead center was the right decision. Really fine work.

Love the mood in this image. Composition is great, and it works perfectly with seeing the back of the person, make it all of the backdrop and she just frames it.

Thanks Patrick and Jan!

Patrick - You're right about the super model! I think Emma's acting experience helps her to instinctively know where and how to stand to have the most impact.

Jan - Glad you like it! Good to hear from you!

Cheers!

You and Emma did a good job, but what if you would have substituted Emma with an old man in a wheelchair, or a Chihuahua, or a baked ham? That would have be real power!
