Definitely has a surrealistic feel to it. I would have called it dark and brooding but for the guy with the smile on his face. The telephone pole and wires in the background seem to take away from the photo a little. Since this is a composite I would consider filling that in with the vines in the back by cloning it out.

I like the concept. You are always pushing in other directions to see what you can do. You deserve credit for being so experimental.

I hope you were OK after you woke from this nightmare. Interesting subject and concept, good composition and new and different--I like it.

Nice composite shot - especially since I know what the two base images look like. Good job of concieving the scene and putting it all together. I agree with Doug on cloning out the power lines as a minor imporvement and I might consider dropping in a moon.

Wow, too bad you came up with this after the Surreal Composite assignment! At this resolution I can't tell what the person is wearing or much about the scene except the walls (are the shiny areas reflections on the walls?) and that amazing sky, but this composite really makes you want to study it more.

Thanks Doug, Patrick, Larry and Cindi!

I appreciate your comments and suggestions!

Cindi - I posted one of the two main images in April; post #540. You might be interested in looking back at it in order to fill in the details lost in this version of the image. The shiny areas on the wall are bits of old plaster and paint if I remember correctly. It had been raining so anything smooth was reflective.

Cheers!
