"High Tide Ford"

I took this photo on my trip to Galveston's East Beach on New Year's Day. I initially wondered why anyone would park in the water but soon realized the truck belonged to one of the fishermen that had walked out on the jetty to fish. While I was there I had to move my truck further away from the water twice to avoid the incoming tide. By the time I saw the owner of this truck come to retrieve it the water was about 8 inches deep!

I think the texture adds a lot to this photo but to me it doesn't have a lot of interest. Maybe if, through positioning or Photoshop, you could have had the fisherman in the background!

Thanks for your comment Larry!

I think I ended up snapping the photo as the waves were going out rather than coming in so I missed the drama of how deep the water was here!

Cheers!
