Happy New Year everyone!
2010 started out with a beautiful day weather wise in Houston. We took advantage of the unexpectedly gorgeous day and drove down to Galveston for lunch and to see if we could find a subject suitable for a photograph. We saw this car buried in the sand on East Beach and could only assume it is a remnant of hurricane Ike.

I think that it's a nice documentary shot of one more example of the damage cause by Ike. It's interesting to me that if it were and old truck in the desert it would be a "fine art" shot of an antique relic but, since it new, it's just beach junk! Too bad it wasn't an old '57 Chevy! :)
