#546. Magic Pool House Photo

The pool house at the RV park we spent last weekend at in New Braunfels. The first shot is the full image which I really like a lot but what makes this image magic is that I found that that I like almost any cropped version of the original equally as well! I posted two of detail crops below the original but I could have made and posted many more.

Title: "Magic Pool House Photo"

Not so much a comment about the photo, but the RV park. You must stay at some really nice RV parks by the looks of this pool house. I do like the color in the walls of the building.

I like them all but I think "Crop #1" is my fav. Great color pair and I like the decision to place the horizon in the middle of the shot.

I vote for crop #1. Why? Because I really like the two contrasting colors of the warm red versus the cool blues. I think this contrast makes you study the photo a little more. It takes time for your mind to get completely around the image. Good eye--again.

Thanks Doug, Larry, and Patrick!

Doug - I don't want to sound like Forrest Gump but RV parks "are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." This time we got a good one! :-)

Larry and Patrick - I think I like the middle crop best as well. When I have time I plan on playing with the original shot some more to see what other interesting crops I can discover.

Cheers!
