Nice application of texture. It gives the shot a kind of a ethereal feel. It does seem to me like it needs a little something though - did you set a black point?

Not sure about setting a black point (Dude! I can't remember what I had for breakfast!:-) That usually is part of my workflow though so chances are good that I did.
Maybe the shot needs a boy and a dog in Larry Patrick fashion? :-)

Really great cloning work in the center (I guess you meant to leave the fire hydrant, signs, vent)! There is something sinister about this image, with that greenish sky. Kind of Gotham City...so maybe this shot could use Batman rather than a boy and his dog. I like how the trees frame the arched, curved entrance too.
It is amazing how the removal of a few objects takes a photo to the next level. The vignetting helps you focus on the main subject. Outstanding post processing.

I could have used the new CS5 tools for the removal process; these were farily tough objects to take out with only the CS4 tool kit.
