#854. The Pleasure Pier

Taken this past weekend in Galveston, Texas from a jetty parallel to The Pleasure Pier. This is a composite of five HDR images stitched together using Photoshop's amazing photomerge process. I processed each set of brackets (three shots, one at -2, one at 0, and one at +2) into HDR images using Photomatix Pro first and then joined them together in Photoshop. To be really appreciated it needs to be viewed as a big print but hopefully you can get a feel for it as presented here.

Title: "The Pleasure Pier"
Camera / Lens: Canon 5D Mark II / Canon 24-105mm L zoom
Post-processing: Photomatix Pro > Photoshop CS4 > Nik Color Efex Pro

It looks like it's pretty awesome. Wish it was larger, so I could see it all. Love the color palette you chose.

One of my previous comments was to keep the photo with the comments. Makes it easier for me to keep a train of thought when commenting.

I agree with Doug. Just want to make it big to get the full enjoyment. Good job! I also like print and comment together.
