#698. Skateborder

Yesterday the Bay Area Photo Club organized a photo shoot for its members at Gately Paper Company in Galveston, TX. This skateboarder was one of the models enlisted to allow for practice with taking action shots. I would have liked a little more sharpness in the overall image but the results are pretty cool regardless, mainly because of the intensity of the young mans facial expression.

Title: "Skateboarder"

Camera / Lens: Canon 5D Mark II / Canon 15mm fisheye lens
Post-processing: Adobe Camera Raw > Photoshop CS4 > Topaz Adjust plugin

Great shot Barry! I would crop the image in enough on both sides to hide the photographer on the left side of the dock and photoshop the overhead door shut to [IMHO] improve the shot, but it's still a great shot.

Given that this is a fisheye, you must have been dangerously near :)

Cool shot Barry. Not sure why I never saw it originally.
