One of the most fascinating sites at a hockey game is the Zamboni. This monster of a machine resurfaces the ice between periods. It seems entirely too big for an indoor venue and it doesn't seem to belong on the ice normally used by humans! :-)

ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, I don't know much about hockey but I am under the impression that Zamboni has become somewhat of a generic term for all brands of ice resurfacers?
