#606. Snakes on Dunes

Taken yesterday at Galveston Island State Park. If you look in the sky you can see the contrail of a jet that caused a bit of concern in the Houston area yesterday. This was the first of what turned out to be many circles that the plane flew. I guess any erratic flight pattern anyone sees on September 11 from now on will justifiability have folks making phone calls to the authorities! This turned out to be a NASA jet on a training flight.

#605. Passing Time

Taken two weeks ago in downtown Houston. This scene caught my eye because of the contrast between the different styles of architecture represented by the different buildings. Without knowing the ages of the buildings I would bet that every building in this shot is at least one generation removed from all the others.
